Standard design
the operation of the tong is based on a rack-pinion mechanism where the pinion, set in rotation by a system operated by a gearmotor, moves the rack integral with the gripping legs. In this way the tong is opened and closed. Physical Safety is guaranteed by the self-closing tong mechanism.
The electrical circuit to the control box is carried out by plug-in connection. This enables quick removal of the tong from the crane.

Parallelogram design
Parallelogram coil lifters require additional headroom to operate when compared to a telescoping drive lifter. Powered rotation, retractable feet, and a multitude of additional safety options are also available.
