Single rim grip

This tongs are robustly engineered for heavy duty application to meet the severe demands of steel and aluminium rolling mills.

The crane operator controls the entire lifting process safely from the crane cabin, by placing the cone into the center of the coil. By raising the tong, the cone and the outer gripping shoe clamp the coil automatically.
The suspension assembly is designed to accommodate standard crane hooks.

This type of tongs can be used for limited spaces and usually for dry coils. It can be produced as customized design for your specified requirements.
The Anti-Scuffing device (optional) prevents scratches onto the coil wall during closing movement of the tong.

Double rim grip

By using Mehraveh double rim gripping type vertical coil tongs damages to coils (due to reducing the surface pressure) can be reduced by more than 30 - 40% compared to any existing vertical coil tongs.
